Come on!! Ready for the next stuffs!! The next stuffs come from Nintendo!! Nintendo is set to release the next generation gameboy Duel Screen DS called the DSi, on April 5, 2009 and will hit the stores with a $169 price tag. That is a pretty hefty price over the $99 you could spend on the current model. What do you get for those other $70?
Cameras, yes that is meant to be plural. The hand held comes with to cameras. One camera is pointing out while the system is flipped open and is a 3 mega pixel camera used for taking pictures and the second is a .3 mega pixel camera looking at the user as her is playing the game. Developers are expected to make use of the inside device to make games more interactive.
Another exiting feature about the DSi is that Nintendo has added a SD slot so that you can add more storage space to the system. It does come with a trade off, gone is the GBA slot, so you will no longer be able to play GameBoy? Advance games. The good news is you can add mp3 to the SD disk, up to 2GB, and use your DSi as an MP3 player, or you could use the DSi as a voice recorder.
The player also has a larger screen, by about one quarter of an inch to 3.25″, but that is huge on a hand held gaming device, I am sure that it will drain your battery a little quicker though. The device is even slimmer than the current DS lite that hit the market last year.
The DSi also has a built in web browser, and you will be able to download game, similar to big brother wii’s service called DSi shop.
The device will hit Europe two days earlier than the April 5 US release.
The avaliable colors for the DSi will intially be black or blue.
